This particular role was highly dynamic and ever-changing given the strat-up nature of the team and product. I shadowed and heavily supported the ex-Google product director in creating a product roadmap and the overall design of the service, as well as leading and supporting the development of the front-end interface of our product.
Over the course of 10 months, the team was really inspired by creating a more modern approach and feeling to professional social media networking. Through weeks of ideation, we landed on creating a short-form video content mobile application for sharing professional services and industry tips based on interest topics, with mentorship and QA being some of the noteworthy features included across all users. The application was loosely inspired by TikTok and LinkedIn.
Through weeks of continual iteration of the product through design workshop sessions, cross-collaboration with designers, engineers, and other stakeholders, and market research for product-market fit, the team finally landed on a version of the product that was put out to internal company users as dogfood before A/B feature testing began and new features were rolled out periodically.
